I’m Stelios Leris

Hello, I’m Stelios Leris, a Greek national with a strong passion for video editing and production. As a freelance video editor, I’ve been actively involved in creating original content for various social media platforms and have significant experience as a production and camera assistant. Currently, I am engaged with BlueClip in Istanbul and TCS Studios LLC in Delaware, USA, focusing on freelance video editing. My professional journey has led me to film weddings and work with a variety of cameras, with a particular expertise in using the Sony Nx100. In my past roles, I served as a camera operator at the Swing Academy Dance School, where I produced commercial footage, and at major events like the Thessaloniki Swing Festival and Thessaloniki Film Festival, covering festival activities and creating B-roll shots. Additionally, I contributed as an assistant videographer at Costa Navarino Dunes in Kalamata, Greece.
 
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Film Studies from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, enriching my knowledge and skills in film theory and practice. My language skills include fluency in Greek and a high proficiency in English, enabling effective communication in diverse settings. I am skilled in various digital tools, including video editing with Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office, and social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn. I also hold a driving license, which has been indispensable for my on-site work.
